Quick Tutorial For Comfortable Shoes

Wide Width - Not all plus size women have wide feet, but if you do have wide feet you need to find shoes to accomodate your foot width.

Barefoot Tess and Nordstrom actually allow you to search shoes by width and have a variety of fashionable choices.  You will also find that plus size clothing stores will carry shoes that are wider. Another option is having your shoes stretched by either taking them to a shoe repair shop or stretching them yourself.

Here's a quick tutorial on stretching your shoes yourself
Flats rule - Most women hate flats.  They don't feel they are as stylish, but for me, I've taken advantage of the flats that on trend and considered "fashionable." Loafers, oxfords, and now the D'orsay Flat are the "in" flats.  I, personally, like to choose a flat with interesting embellishment, such as a stud, a tassle, or gold accents.

To Find Christmas Gift (Shoes) For Her

Verify Her Shoe Width

Letters near the size will indicate a special width. You might see an "A" or several "E"s, or even and "N," "M," or "W." These all represent different widths.

To make matters more confusing, different letters can be used to specify the same width. For example, an "A" and an "N" are both mean "narrow."

If in doubt as to what the letters mean, make a note of them and ask someone at the shoe store for assistance. Again, be sure to check the store's return policy, just in case they don't work out.
